Why an application? Can’t we just set up a time?

It’s so important to make sure that your investment in private tutoring is a good one. 

Because my work in sessions is meticulously individualized to each particular student, and because the tutor, the student, and the parent should ideally form one unified team, it is of utmost importance that personalities, goals, needs, boundaries, limitations, expectations, and compatibility are honestly and directly assessed and communicated from the very beginning.

After I fill out this website form, what happens?

Within 1-2 business days:

I will get back to you regarding my availability. If I have time slots still available for new students, we will set up a 10-minute phone call or Zoom meeting to discuss you and your student’s goals in a little more detail. 

Rest assured:

I will never do any less than my best work, and thus I will always be honest with potential clients about whether or not I think I will be a good match as a private instructor for your student.
